ALIX ANNOUNCES FIRST PHASE OF 2008 DRILL PROGRAM FOR
CHLORIDE PROPERTY, ARIZONA
February 22, 2008, VANCOUVER, B.C. – ALIX RESOURCES CORP. (“Alix” or the “Company”) (AIX-TSX:V) (37N – FRANKFURT) announces today that it has begun the permitting process for a 600 meter (approximately 2000 feet) first phase core drilling program on its 100% owned Chloride property in northwestern Arizona. The Chloride property is located approximately 32 kilometers (20 miles) north of Kingman Arizona, and only 3 kilometers from Mercator Mineral’s Mineral Park porphyry copper-molybdenum mine. Six to eight core holes (representing phase one) are planned to be drilled to test bedrock beneath a large, under-explored area of shallow alluvial cover within the district.
Integrating recently received analytical results from an MMI (Mobile Metal Ion) soil survey and geologic field investigations; Alix has identified several target areas of immediate interest. These drill targets lie within a previously identified mineralized corridor that trends northwesterly across the property for approximately 4 kilometers and is up to 200 meters wide. Additional information regarding the Chloride property, including maps and other data, can be found on the Company’s website.
Alix Resources believes excellent potential exists for the discovery of economic, subcropping, high-grade precious and base metal-bearing quartz vein lodes within the historic Chloride mining camp.
