NPN Announces Board Change/AGM Update


August 30th, 2007, VANCOUVER, B.C. – NPN INVESTMENT GROUP INC. (“NPN” or the “Company”) (NPN-TSX: V) reports that all motions proposed by management at the AGM, held on August 27th, 2007, were approved by shareholders by the requisite majorities. This includes a continuance of the Company from Ontario to British Columbia, and a name change from NPN Investment Group Inc. to Alix Resources Corp. The continuance and name change will take effect in the near future at which time the Company will issue a statement alerting investors of the details.

The Company is pleased to welcome Mr. Jay Oness to its board of directors. Mr. Oness has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate management with strengths in strategic planning, business development and investor relations for public companies. He has served as a director, executive and consultant to a wide variety of corporations over a 20+ year career. These include, among many others, VP Investor & Corporate Relations for Manex Resource Group Inc., President/Director Onestar Consulting, Director, Sierra Geothermal Power.

To make way for Mr. Oness, Mr. Paul Barbeau has resigned from the board. The company wishes him well in his future endeavors. The board of directors now consists of Michael England (also President and CEO), David Hedderley-Smith, David Lajack, Pierre Vella-Zarb and Jay Oness.

NPN announces the formation of an advisory board whose members are listed below. The company is pleased to have such high caliber representatives come aboard and looks forward to utilizing their combined experience in matters ranging from geology to financial.

Mr. Gerald H. Rayner, P.Eng, is an independent technical consultant who has over 40 years of experience in the mining industry and has practiced his profession on every continent except Antarctica. The bulk of his time has been spent in Western North America including Mexico and Central America, in Australia and the South Pacific, including Indonesia and other parts of Asia, and in various South American countries. Mr. Rayner's primary areas of expertise lie in reconnaissance exploration and in the evaluation of mineral properties at the earlier stages of exploration and development. While with Kennecott, Mr. Rayner was in charge of exploration in Papua New Guinea in the South Pacific where efforts during this period resulted in the discovery of several porphyry copper deposits including the Ok Tedi Mine.

Mr. Marvin Mitchell, P.Eng, is an independent technical consultant who received his degree from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology in 1968 (formerly Montana School of Mines). He has over 38 years experience in the mineral exploration industry including 8 years as Exploration Manager for the Minerals Division of Ranger Oil Ltd. and is a registered professional engineer in the Province of British Columbia.

Mr. Manfred Schauer is a seasoned international banker and expert in treasury products having worked with such institutions as the Deutsche Bank Group from 1971 through 1986 and Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust Co of Chicago in the late 1980’s. A successful, independent businessman with a proven track-record and all-round general management qualifications Mr. Schauer has also organized and managed major bank trading rooms, directed staff development, administrative restructuring and other internal control functions. His credentials further include launching OTC FX options, interest rate futures and managing market-making in major reserve and secondary currencies and gold position taking as well as working with very diverse industry partners ranging from property, investment banking, large-scale nickel, metal and diamond mining, to mobile phone and VOIP technology and merger & acquisition advisory.

Mr. John T. Duncan, M.S., is a geologist who began his career on the staff of the Arizona Geological Survey in Tucson, Arizona. In 1993, he resigned his position to join as a founding partner in Altar Resources and to serve as a consultant to the mineral industry. He now has over 10 years experience in exploration, development and mine geology in the Americas. Mr. Duncan has been a consultant for such companies as BHP, Cyprus Minerals, and for the last several years U.S. Borax. In addition to his Masters of Geology degree, he also holds a B.A. in Business Finance from the University of Texas.

Mr. Bruce Duncan, currently the president and CEO of United Bolero Development Corp. (UNB:TSXV), has over 25 years of capital market and brokerage industry experience, including eight years with Gordon Capital Corporation. Mr. Duncan is also the President of West Oak Capital Partners Inc. West Oak provides strategic advisory services which include: identifying and qualifying merger and acquisition candidates; raising capital for clients; and advising on going public transactions. Mr. Duncan's client base has included financial services, aviation, mining, oil and gas, logistics, and retail industries.
